The company was established in 1978 by commencing R&D and manufacture of contact lens care solutions. The wide range of care products was commercialized under the brand Piiloset. In addition to the domestic market, Piiloset products are exported to some 30 countries.
Today the company has grown into a highly professional and reliable partner in all areas of the optical business. In addition to a large family of innovative care solutions, we offer a wide range of lenses including state-of-the-art individual FreeForm lenses, coated, tinted and edged.
Our care solutions are developed in co-operation with the Allergy and Asthma Federation and they have been granted Allergy Labels. This label guarantees that the product suits also people with sensitive eyes. Read more about the Allergy Label Products here.
All Piiloset products are manufactured in our factory in Lieto, Finland. The production is ISO certified by Det Norske Veritas and the care solutions and contact lenses are CE-approved.
Besides our own brands, we produce tailor-made private label care solutions and provide complete artwork planning services, when required.
